Visitation, Telephone, Family Passes

Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center’s program requires and highly encourages family participation and interaction to aid in successful treatment outcomes. All patient contact is subject to a pre-approved visitation list.

Visitation

The family is encouraged to maintain consistent visitation and involvement during the patient’s treatment. As treatment progresses therapeutic family assignments will be important to the success of the patient’s transition for their discharge planning.

Treatment Related Visitation

Visitation related to treatment includes, family therapy sessions and treatment team meetings. Treatment sessions are scheduled through the patient’s assigned therapist.

Non-Treatment Visitation

In addition to treatment related visitation, there is also non-treatment visiting hours which are:

  • Wednesday 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • Holiday visiting hours varies per holiday

Telephone/Call Days

Children are allowed two outgoing call days per week and two incoming call days per week. Guidelines and scheduling will be reviewed at admission.

Family Passes

As treatment progresses, therapeutic family assignments/family passes will be an integral part to the success of the patient’s transition back to their home life and discharge planning.
